2010 Service Project was conducted in both Turnov and Semily, Czech Republic. This year there were only 110 Americans from Club Beyond Christian clubs in International Schools in Europe and 10 Czech translators. We were also able to sponsor 20 additional Czechs to join them in their Service. The Americans and Czechs lived together, served together and played together for 5 days in April. Following are some pictures showing highlights of our week.
Ken and I took teams into 2 different schools to share in English classes. In 3 days we attended 22 ESL classes plus there were other teams at other schools. In the afternoons we were able to conduct clubs in both towns. And at the end of the week we were able to have Celebrations. The celebration in Turnov was for the whole town and 3000 people attended including many teachers who brought their whole class.
SERVICE IN ESL CLASSES. This is one class of 16 we attended in the Turnov Hotel and Business School.
